The Swiss International Society (SIS) was founded and is headed by Philippe D. Monnier *.
Philippe, a Swiss and Mexican citizen, grew up in Japan, Mexico, and Switzerland, has lived in seven other countries, and has visited more than 70 nations. He is fluent in six European languages as well as Japanese.
He is an active board director of several international organizations. Previous positions include Executive Director (CEO) of the Greater Geneva Bern area; Senior Vice President of the Schindler Group (Lucerne, Switzerland); Managing Director (CEO) of Schindler Lifts (Singapore); and Management Consultant at McKinsey. Philippe also co-founded and managed three e-business start-ups in Switzerland and Japan and served as President of the Wharton Alumni Club of Switzerland for four years.
Philippe’s studies include Civil Engineering (ITESM, Mexico), MBA (Wharton, USA), Board Directorship (Harvard, USA), Digitalization (MIT, USA), Sustainable Economy (Cambridge, UK), Rocket Science (Yale University, USA), Fashion & Luxury Management (Bocconi, Italy), Science & Technology (University of Tokyo, Japan), and Intellectual Property Strategy (Harvard, USA).
